經歷

民國47年生，69年台灣大學土木工程系學士，74年美國賓州州立大學土木系碩士，78年美國德州奧斯汀(Austin)大學土木系博士，78至79年美國 ARDAMAN 工程公司工程部專案工程師，79年至本系任教至今。

研究領域

主題為土壤的污染復育技術，目前正探討掩埋場覆土中甲烷氣體之微生物氧化降解作用，利用可行之工程技術來提升分解速率，以減緩地球溫室效應。未來將評估物理、化學及生物技術，作為現場土壤污染整治之用。

Research to be held focuses on two topics of interest in environment remediation:
Mitigation of methane from landfills: Transformation of methane by microbial activity is the subject of current effort. Engineering approaches will be investigated to enhance the rate of degradation.
Pollution of soil environment: Practical manners based on chemical, physical and biological technology is evaluated by laboratory experiments. Further applications in field case are expected to implement with in industry.
