民國 38 年生,60年國立師範大學物理系學士,64年美國紐約州立大學水牛城(Buffalo)分校物理系碩士,70 年美國紐約州立大學水牛城分校工程科學系博士,70至74年美國紐約州立大學水牛城分校能源與環境研究實驗所助教授,74至77年美國路易絲安那州立大學機械工程系研究員,77至78年美國紐約州立大學水牛城分校助教授,79 年至本系任教至今。
