83年淡江大學水資源及環境工程系學士, 87年美國麻州大學Lowell分校土木及環境工程系碩士, 91年美國麻州大學Lowell分校土木及環境工程系博士。92至93年美國麻州大學Lowell分校土木及環境工程系研究計劃主持人及博士後研究員, 92年曾任美國Xpert Design & Diagnostics, LLC. 及Tetra Tech, Inc顧問, 92年並任教於美國麻州Merrimack 學院土木系, 93年至本系服務迄今。
